This kit has the electronics you need to get a CNC machine up and running with 3 × 3 N·m (426 oz·in) motors with encoders and drivers.
The encoders feed back into the drivers to ensure the motors are where they were told to be and if the motors miss steps the driver can create an alarm which can be connected to the emergency stop input of the host controller, hopefully saving the job before it is ruined.
As a rough guide, if an axis is below 1200?mm using screws then use 2?N·m motors, if it is between 1200?mm and 1800?mm using screws or rack then use 4?N·m motors, if it is more than 1800?mm using rack then use 8?N·m motors.
